I have been an Alaskan since 1974 and have been fortunate enough to travel across much of this magnificent state. When asked about Alaska, I am often told that I sound like a paid advertisement for the Alaska Board of Travel or the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce.

My love of the outdoors is what drove my passion to leave Oklahoma and move to Alaska some 43 years ago. In 1997, I won my first national photo contest hosted by Photographic Magazine, winning the Grand Prize.

The vastness and beauty of this land coupled with its diverse wildlife always leaves me challenged and humbled in my efforts to capture them, always fueling my passion to chase the perfect image with my camera. I would like to share a few of my photographs that have left impressions on me in hopes that you will find them as interesting and enjoyable as I have.
